They are hallmarked for 18ct gold (including the substantial butterflies) and the sapphires are held in pace with some yellow gold claws which is a really nice touch

He's hand painted and its a very nice rendering. There's a locket back for a keepsake or photo. Age: c1820 30 Size and weight: 12g, 5cm to top of bail x 3cm wide. Materials: High carat gold, (fineness TBD to follow), pearls, portrait miniature Condition: Very good, slight nibbles to the front glass at 12 and 6 o' clock, you have to be looking closely to notice.
