'Cloud Forest' Blue Hen Falls but the US Triathalon hadHow do we have places like this right in our own backyard?? Took a 7 mile hike in and out of Blue Hen Falls, this morning. Honestly, the main parking lot being closed has probably been greatly restorative for this heavily visited location. Starting before dawn felt like hiking through a cloud forest with fog hanging in the treetops, warm rain falling, and humidity dialed up! The falls were, of course, beautiful as ever.
