Please use any linen you might like for your sampler. All cross stitching is worked over two threads of linen with one strand of silk. Back stitches and French knots are also worked with one strand of silk. Needlepoint Silks used are: 243, 561, 562, 564, 566, 571, 607, 635, 772, 862, 877, 955, 993. The Thread
