Exquisite antique French rayon grosgrain in a lavender puce coloration interwoven with a very unique woven section made to look like raffia (label says rayon) in a light cream

Antique Gold Diamond + Cream French Trim bone This is an amazing vintageStriking diamond patterned antique french trim from the Lyon region of France. Jacquard woven gold and cream rayon trim. The central motif being a simple geometric diamond pattern, accented by a bi colored gold and cream twisted cording couch stitched to the trim surface to add three dimensional depth. A similar accent is repeated at the borders in the form of unspun fibers gathered and woven in a flattened gimp like fashion. This is true antique
