I was looking for some good wildflower composition to photograph and came upon this patch of common milkweed close to the trail
focused and composed the scene in front of me and pressed the shutter release button a few times
I didn't plan on doing any close up photography of the wildflowers in the area
I reached the trailhead soon after leaving the house with camera gear in hand and it wasn't long before I started seeing the wildflowers that were in pristine condition
