all rubber remains soft & flexible despite abrasions to the sidewall

the US7 shows some minor discoolouration to the rubber on both shoes

there is minimal wet rot at the base of the midsole however will not effect wear

rubber will chip & flake away at bends but only from the first foxing stripe area

vintage van's style #95 ~ US5 solid colour all rubber remains soft &vintage van's style #95 era white canvas made in usa circa 1986 new US5 UK4 4. 5 (waffle outsole gum portion measures 24cm) the left shoe short term use as a display model with resulting discolouration & some dryness. all the rubber remains soft & flexi & shoes of this age will however hold up to normal wear.
