Ridge Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon Blend York Creek 1989 1968 including the Banda OroWinemaker Notes: The mid September rains slowed ripening at York Creek, but did no damage to the grapes. The vines, benefiting from their location high on Spring Mountain, ripened fully by early October. These small, concentrated, mountain vineyard grapes can contribute high levels of tannin as well as intense fruit. We fined early to moderate those tannins and accentuate the vineyards typical blackberry and black pepper spice.
