We used a rich colored cotton rope throughout the piece with a lot of fringe to bring movement and texture

It is a full circle moment:  I choose my materials very carefully and thoughtfully and I save all my scraps for "just in case" moments

This modern weaving was handmade on a frame loom and hangs from Linen mixed cotton rope that is woven through two copper dowels

The colors were inspired by a custom piece I was making for my niece - I loved them so much I had to make another wall hanging with them and voila

but we tested it and the weaving can hang from two nails on either side of the leather strap that is woven through the piece itself and be good to go
