At times when this owl dove into the powdery white drifts

large male polar bears play fighting while they wait for the sea ice to form

allowing me to capture a beautiful mountain skyline as the sun slipped away

Moose tend to be quite active in this area

Wild Ones Original I felt lucky to haveAlberta Foothills I felt very fortunate to find this group of wild horses near Sundre, Alberta. They were part of a herd of about twenty individuals. It was fall and the horses were grazing in the early morning. The herd was obviously very tightly knit and I enjoyed watching their interactions as I photographed them.
