Carved Figure 01 Our Loma bench is craftedHand carved from indigenous wood this figure comes from the Baule people of the Ivory Coast. For the Baule people, human existence remains inextricably linked to the ancestral spirit world which determines the fate of the living. Divination figures such as these serves as links to this spirit world, acting as a resting place for the spirits and as a form of communication.
