RA 8797 RARE GREAT WESTERN RAILWAY 6 BAR BLOCK CLOSING SWITCH trader-pitch Even better this instrument hasA very rare Great Western Railway 6 bar block closing switch, these switches were fitted to the block shelf and allowed a signal box to switch out of circuit during times when the service allowed. All the block indicators and bells were effectively taken out of circuit and the instruments in the adjacent boxes were connected. This instrument is in superb condition and is very rare being a 10 bar example.
