Georgian Octagonal Garnet Ring gents and clusters of emeralds andStunning antique single stone ring dating from the late 18th century, circa 1790. It's set with an octagonal step cut colour change garnet, a rich pinkish purple colour in daylight, and blood red under incandescent bulbs with bright flashes of the respective colours as light catches the back facets. The shoulders are beautifully worked, with flowing rococo inspired foliate lines and simple geometric engravings around the gallery. Crafted in 15ct
