The sarcophagus is decorated in enamel in the classic Egyptian colours green and white, lapis blue and carnelian red with a pale gold wash. It's hinged at the head, opening to reveal a mummy inside that's also beautifully detailed and enamelled with strips of cloth tied in bows at the back.
