Buhera Basket Striped Once shapedThe baskets are a beautiful reflection of ancient weaving tradition, made by the Buhera women of Zimbabwe. These baskets were traditionally used for storing mealie meal and beer, to make them waterproof, cow dung would be smeared on the outside of the baskets.
