Embroidered Turtle in Rare Vintage Teak, Peanut Shaped Frame import_2019_08_07_183911 The vintage safety deposit boxYears ago, I made some embroidered brooches in these beautiful wooden frames sourced from a couple who makes them by hand (!!!). Although I loved them, I hadn't made more after that first batch. Now I'm playing with some of their newer frames like this amazing turtle! I stitched the center in my favorite French Knots and used a stunning, rare Teak bowl (in the coolest peanut shape!) as the outer frame. This bowl was so fun to play with to paint in a
