Kuba Ceremonial Container 01 new in The masks are traditionally wornA rare ceremonial container from the Kuba people of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Hand crafted from a single block of wood with intricate carved patterns to indicate the high status of their owner. Such containers are used to store precious items or serve palm wine during social and ritual gatherings. The container has developed beautiful patina from age and use.
