Spring butt hinges are not handed. Spring tension is easily adjusted. These hinges have the architectural grade screw hole pattern that conforms to ANSI specifications for template hinges. They are slightly less thick, and use smaller screws than architectural grade hinges. Pivot point aligns with non spring hinges of the same size.
