this lamp would have sat on the instrument shelf in Maesteg South signal box and  would have been used by the signalmen and fogsignalmen when appointed

This BR-WR Alloy sealed release unit used by the signalman to override a track circuit during a failure which was preventing the points from being moved

This plate has had a matching piece of cast brass plate Silver soldered  into the left hand end surrounding the bolt hole

A selection of coils and assorted instrument parts for spares or repairs
