St. Michael-Eppan Pinot Bianco Schulthauser 2016 Bottle:1 The suggested serve for AlacranA mineral driven wine with the characteristic phenolic bitterness that so many Northern Italian whites show. The structure is complete and the wine feels pretty well balanced, but the depth of flavor and overall complexity leave a little bit to be desired. Just starting to develop some honeyed aromas, which might merit further aging (the structure is there). Paired well with a simple semi firm cheese, but didn't stand up to a more richly aromatic meal.
