I didn't have far to hike to reach the west end of the park where there was an abundance of wildflowers

I was looking for some good wildflower composition to photograph and came upon this patch of common milkweed close to the trail

I come upon the dock with a great blue heron resting on the rails

I wanted to focus solely on this rosinweed flower being illuminated by the early morning sunlight so

as the sunlight illuminated the prairie and these rosinweed flowers during the early morning hours
