These colors at Blackwater State Park were the most vivid I've seen anywhere

Literally had tremors in the fingers taking these shots

the landscape is fairly stark

Will throw a couple stories up of the experience…and another in the comments of a speedboat passing through the same scene which was too long for Facebook’s 4x5 crop

I’d set up the D-SLR on WI-FI & hide out-of-sight about 100-ft away

This was a personal favorite of the lot. Shortly after sunrise, a mass of mammatus clouds swept in (signifying a change in weather) and blotting out the sun. It all happened so quickly it was all I could do to hold my jaw up & keep shooting!
