Earth Tone Mug This vessel represents the convergenceWheel thrown red stoneware clay mug decorated with refined clay slips called terra sigillata. I created these decorating slips from clay samples that I have foraged in different states over the years, or that were given to me by other potters. I also used slips that I made from commercially processed clays such as Redart (the dark red lower portion with the carved line pattern). The green diamonds and interior are glazed. Holds 12 oz. Approximately 4"
