Georgian Raven Intaglio Seal Fob lost classics Along with Jupiter and JunoCool Georgian seal fob with an octagonal chalcedony base featuring a raven intaglio. At first glance I presumed it was heraldic but now not so sure. There's no identical heraldic crest in Fairbairn's and the bird is stood on a patch of grass, not a torse*, which suggests it's an aesthetic choice of subject, rather than armourial. It's set in a 15ct gold fob with fluted detailing, and the bird is busy inspecting the ground as if it has lost something
