An Eastern Bluebird stops for a rest on a burr oak tree branch along its migration in Northern Illinois

Many wildflowers can be seen while walking through the park including these smooth hedge nettles at Wildflower Park

I reached the bridge that crosses over the South Fork Kishwaukee River shortly after leaving the lake in which I looked back and seen this beautiful view of the colorful sky with the bridge and the peachleaf willow tree that I have come to enjoy photographing and seeing along my hikes in the park

The previous days I scouted out a few areas to photograph the wildflowers and the Burnidge Forest Preserve had plenty to photograph so, I made that my priority today.
