Description

Most of these early type instruments were rebuilt and had the top lids replaced

the large "sheep dome" bell has a superb deep pleasing tone and is supported on a substantial turned brass pedestal

All these keys which have come up for sale had their end sawn off by the S & T department

For reasons of cost reduction by British Rail the manufacturer produced these hats with yellow (gold) cloth cord rank/grade embellishment instead of the previous gold bullion wire around the hat and on the peak/visor

The watch is in good overall condition and is complete with its waistcoat pocket chain
