the repair is almost un detectable and the plate has  retained its original paint and the 2 corner repairs have been carefully touched in

9 1/2" x 3 3/4" diameter

A piece is chipped underneath the lid but does not notice when displaced

This London Brighton & South coast Railway 20 lever frame was manufactured by Saxby & Farmer in the late 19th century

the top thumbscrew is missing as this is very common due to the positioning of the instrument under the block shelf
