A thick heavy fog surrounds the park on this wet morning as I gaze out across the trail only to be able to see about 50 yards ahead

There are some nice vantage points to view the river and set up the tripod

A pair of male mallard ducks slowly move across a misty Wildflower Lake during the early morning hours as the colors of the sunrise are filtered through the mist onto this scene at Wildflower park

I didn't have to wait long before those colors of oranges and reds came alive with cumulus clouds picking up those colors along with a low lying mist hovering over the prairie landscape

I came upon this mulberry tree with the sunlight coming through the openings that gave a good opportunity to photograph the multiple sunbursts at Wildflower Park
