Brown Corde Handbag Made by Park Lane Book There is one photo withVintage 1940s brown corde handbag purse. The inside label reads, "Park Lane Creation by Capitol Leather Montreal". I am guessing this is wartime and might have to do with rationing as the purse is not made of leather. It is a darker brown' some of the photos make it look slightly purple (which it is not). It is in good condition with only light wear. The handle is a little stiff and wrinkled.
