Even though I'm a "representational" artist, I don't much consider my subjects in their most literal sense I don't fixate on the fact that I'm painting an alley. Instead, I'm captivated by the play of light and the pattern of geometric shapes. And I'm always happy to steal added inspiration from music. This painting title comes from a similarly named song by the
