Between Christmas and New Year, during a rare 35 degree heatwave in Melbourne, I decided to capture its beauty from the air. I chartered a small plane and, by mid afternoon, was flying over Port Phillip Bay. The beaches were packed with families, surfers, and sunbathers enjoying the hot weather, while the clear water revealed fish swimming below.
