I did not wash these

so I am unsure if the specks will come out

I doubt you would ever wrench on this hard enough for the crack to break

but are a little loose - it would be best to sew them in a little better before you wear this)

The compact has some scratches and smudges and general light wear

The pages are not bound together just folded, sort of like a newspaper. Fairly good condition with some wear around the edges. Article on Japan. Interesting photos, advertisements and cartoons. The main text is in German, but most pictures have a French translation written underneath. May ship lightly rolled up.
