Ironstone Casserole Dish – Rare Melody Pattern Antique a Chinese fine porcelain teaAlfred Clough established the firm in 1905 going on to purchase St. Louis Works in 1928 and then registering his company in as Alfred Clough Ltd. in 1935. He purchased Royal Art Pottery in 1937, Cartwright & Edwards in 1955, Barker Bros and Sampson Smith Ltd. in 1956 and W. H. Grindley in 1960.
