German Collapsible Top Hat ~56/57 dday2023 The photos are a fairOriginal prewar German collapsible top hat. It measures about 56 57. It has some very light wear but is still quite nice. There is a small hole on the inside lining at one of the hinges of the mechanism. Marked inside with the maker, Louis Zbisch Inh. Alfred Baumann Auerbach i. V. These are a lot of fun. Just slap the brim on one hand and it pops open. Be careful though I have seen people do it too aggressively and bend the brim back.
