After The Rain Geek turning challenging times into artworkThis drawing was the 8th work I created for my "Year in Japan" series, of which there are 12 one for each month. The original artwork was created using Copic markers and coloured pencil. The work depicts a young couple going to a restaurant for dinner. A lone man is walking past carrying his shopping. It is a bittersweet image as the young couple are happy on their way out for a romantic dinner, while the man, bathed in blue, walks home alone.
