Period (possibly postwar) Bakelite soap container with the original soap inside

It is a bit worn and dented but still quite attractive

there are several small moth holes and some light staining

but maybe could use a restoration

The pointy forehead does cover the forehead much better than most other caps

The inside does have a bit of a chemical smell, a bit like paint thinner. At least its not gasoline, you might actually be able to clean it out pretty well. If nothing else, you could line it with a liquid food safe resin. The gasket appears to be the original and also rather gross.
