WAC Purse with Replaced Catch communication It is not a mint

It is not a mint canteen

It is in rather good condition for a kit like this as these usually get destroyed in tool boxes or bouncing around in a car tool kit

They look a bit rough

It also appears that the book was used for 1944 and again for 1945 and to a lesser extent up into the late 1950's

although I am not sure exactly how old (probably 1940s - 1960s)

WAC Purse with Replaced Catch communication It is not a mintOriginal WWII WAC (Women's Army Corps) leather purse with replaced catch. It has the shoulder strap. The handbag is in OK condition; still useable but with some issues. The snap ripped off and was replaced with a grommet and catch (this is not the first time I've seen this done as the snaps are a little fragile). Small nick tear on the bottom. The leather on one side of the strap has split (the strap is still useable as is, but it should be resewn).
