Stonehaven from Ury, study 1 West Coast of Scotland half-dreamed – and full of20 x 20 cm This painting captures a view of Stonehaven as seen looking down from the Ury Estate. I've lived on this Estate for over almost 20 years now and this painting, like many of my works, represents a composition of different memories rather than capturing a single moment (in this case, most of these memories were collected whilst walking a dog or two along the Estate's many trails and byways).
