The bottom is marked "Ges

The frame is made from aluminum with a wood handle and brass fittings

the string may have some fading / discoloration

Scharlachberg Meisterbrand Weinbrand Ashtray Matt Vintage German paperclips in theirVintage German Scharlachberg Meisterbrand Weinbrand wine advertising ashtray. It is marked "Knigl. pr. Tettau" on the bottom. This mark was used after 1930 and into the 1940s. It is in good condition overall. There are some imperfections in the glaze and a little dirt on the bottom. It measures 4 1 4" by almost 4 1 4" and stands about 1 1 2" tall.
