The Phaistos Disc consists of 241 symbols including Linear A, Linear B and hieroglyphs. The disc was found in the basement of the Minoan palace of Phaistos and dates back to the 17th century BC. Its diameter is approximately 15cm, its width is 2cm and it is made of clay. On one side there are 122 symbols, while on the other 119. The symbols using vertical lines are divided into groups
