Period Horse Cover artillery The colors ranged from jetPeriod German heavy canvas rain cover for a horse. This is made from the same heavy linen as many pouches and vehicle covers etc although it is is a purple color which seems to have been used around WWI and for the civilian market. It is in decent to good condition with some fading, dirt and wear. Could be strapped on a horse as is. It measures approximately 50" by 51".
