The cap is identical to an aluminum canteen cap, but does not have any markings. The bottle is made in the same way as a canteen, but is a more useful bottle shape. This probably holds more than 1L. I am tempted to say it could be an early post war thing and just brought back by someone that was on occupation duty. Its in good condition.
