Franz took control of this estate from his father in 1983

and the Terre di Libarna sub-zone was recognised as part of Colli Tortonesi DOC in 2011

From 30-year-old vines from the Leithaberg mountains

and the wine then remains until bottling after partial filtration 16 months later
