A total of eight Islay farms came together to harvest the 2011 crop for Port Charlotte over a tempestuous summer. The nose on this whisky begins with sandy sea breeze and fresh linen. Apple sauce, zesty lemon, crunch pear, and a green fruit signature follow. The aroma speaks to the spirit, the distillation, and the barley. The palate is sweet and soft on
