They can still break just like originals if over abused

I have a stack of bread bags and I love all of them but this construction is one of my favorites

It is a strange hole

the shudder seems to work but the knob that is supposed to pull in and out to hold the one film spool seems to be bent and stuck

but I just don't think this is one of them

It is in overall good condition with some wear. The clear window is slightly yellowed. The red paint on the wooden handle is worn. There are a few rust specks. To operate it, a little sideways pressure helps make a clean cut, just like most modern paper cutters. This could really take your reenacting photos to a new level.
