This painting features a variety of orange blooms including some lovely orange parrot tulips which were SO fun to paint for the first time

so they've been a joy to have in our garden year after year

the colors on this painting make me a bit giddy

peaches and even some neon red

Vintage Neutral-Horizontal seascape This painting features a varietyI set out one morning, to paint a couple warm up paintings. just something to shake off the cobwebs and help me to get back into my painting groove, at the start of the day. A funny thing happened, though, when I fell in love with the simplicity of the under painting sketch portion of the artwork. I loved the neutral tones surrounded by the electric blue so much, that I didn't want to move forward with my original plan, which was to add some more pops
