This would be worth trying to clean and would make for a great blanket to use for reenacting or to roll up and help display an early Tornister

It is possible that this was done at the original factory but it seems more likely to me that the defective zeltbahn was sent on to a subcontractor for repairs

The collar has some discoloration

It is in OK used, condition. Slight discoloration spots on the cover. Some wear on the spine. This is one of the earliest ones we have had and it has more information in it than the later war books. There is an interesting ying yang property stamp in back cover along with a a handwritten name and 1940 date. This first name matches
