Seren Rug A colour palette which isAn exceptionally pretty 1930s prayer rug from Milas in southwest Anatolia. A glowing red pink mihrab on a pale green base is surrounded by bird like and floral borders. The all wool construction, the red weft and the diamond shaped mihrab are all characteristic of the weaving tradition in this area which may have begun as early as the seventeenth century.
