TWS: this is a plus.Many swimbait reels have bigger spool but have smaller eye guides.The use of the tws on this is a plus because bigger spool reel do seem to benefit the tws more so than the smaller bass and finess reel do.Bigger line will flow easier so this is thinking right direction

Poorly functioning reel can make this problem even worse

The main con about this reel is that the machining can sometimes be a bit misaligned, making the spool feel a bit wobbly
