catfish rod and reel combo baitcaster Chaos XS Round and Carbon Graphite blank 2 baitcasting catfish rod reel

This 9.2-ounce beauty has caught me many fish

This not a medium heavy stick in the traditional sense and anyone purchasing the rod based on that label, not looking at the lure and line rating, will find themselves with a 7'-6" stick that's a lot more powerful than they had anticipated

But in the real world and on the water, that translates to a great feel in your hands

Beginners should start with monofilament line, as its affordable, easy to handle, and less prone to backlash

Its always good to have a little extra line when you need it

'The Internet' says this is a weakness of Cardinal reels, but I've got six, and owned another four and this is the first one that's ever broken
